A new year, a new plan for adventures. Before getting into the plans of 2024 let’s take a quick look back at 2023.
The year began with me deep in the snowy mountains of British Columbia. A week long venture into the backcountry was a fantastic way to start the year.
Next came the melt of the spring. The creek in front of the tent was as high as I can remember.
Summer glided in with amazing weather. On an adventure into western Montana a wolf ran across the forest service road. He stopped a few yards into the forrest and looked back.
Autumn arrived after the wildfires subsided. Incredible weather graced the Fall season. Another trip back to Canada with buddies was the highlight of the entire year’s travels.
As an incredible Autumn closed its window on a spectacular three months, a trip to the Oregon coast rounded out the season.
Very little snow fell in the last month of 2023. So I took advantage by adding a new front bumper to the Tundra.
In the last week of the year I went to the Northwest Peaks in Montana to find snow.
